NOV 8 Pintxo Sunday: Essentially Basque Cookbook Launch

This month’s Pintxo Sunday celebrates Essentially Basque: Bringing Spanish Cooking Home, the new cookbook from Chef Ryan Bartlow and food writer Laurie Woolever.

Bartlow, a Chicago native, is the chef and co-owner of Ernesto’s and Bartolo in New York City. He spent his formative years cooking at Akelarre in San Sebastián, and the book distills the cooking of the Basque Country into dishes for the home kitchen. Woolever, a New York Times bestselling author, was a longtime collaborator of Anthony Bourdain.

The afternoon begins with a pintxo reception of elevated Basque-style bites, followed by a seated luncheon in our Main Dining Room with a first taste of new fall dishes from our kitchen.
